Must See LGBTQ TV: Spring premieres of 'Supergirl' and 'Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist'

NBC’s Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist returns on Sunday night. The ensemble includes Alex Newell as Mo, Zoey’s queer neighbor and friend. In the spring premiere, Zoey's effort to recreate a cherished memory with Mitch is thwarted by Leif. Max and Mo have their big restaurant opening. Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist: Sunday, 9pm on NBC.

The sixth and final season of The CW’s Supergirl premieres on Tuesday. The show includes lesbian character Alex and trans superhero Dreamer in the main ensemble. In season six premiere, as Brainiac lays close to death after trying to stop Lex, Supergirl and team soar in to save him, engaging in an epic battle with Gamenmae. Supergirl: Tuesday, 9pm on The CW.
