It's been less than 24 hours since NY signed legalized marriage for gay and lesbian couples into law, but thanks to Twitter, celebs far and wide have been sending public messages of excitement and celebration. Of course for a number of LGBT celebrities, the marriage victory is something they have been eagerly awaiting for personal reasons.
Openly gay actor Neil Patrick Harris tweeted his excitement and revealed that he and partner David Burtka have been engaged for quite some time:
