VIDEO: Elvis Duran talks coming out on air

This week, GLAAD: All Access host Claire Pires interviewed Elvis Duran, openly gay host of the weekday morning radio program Elvis Duran & The Morning Show, which garners more than 8 million listeners each day. In the interview, Duran talks about being openly gay on air and says he wants "to make being gay as normal as possible."

As you can see from the photo above, Duran and his staff have gone purple for Spirit Day for the past two years to support anti-bullying for LGBT youth. "Everyone needs to be wearing purple, […] support LGBT youth, wear your purple," he said on the show this past Spirit Day. In 2013, he created a video with a message from him and his co-hosting team about the importance of putting an end to bullying.
