VIDEO: Betty Who talks about being an ally to the LGBT community

Twenty-three year-old Australian singer-songwriter, Betty Who, is known for her upbeat music and popular dance tracks. Who gained popularity within the LGBT community after her song "Somebody Loves You" played in the viral YouTube video "Spencer's Home Depot Marriage Proposal," featuring a man proposing to his husband in Home Depot as people participated in a choreographed flash mob to her song in the background. Betty also spent most of this summer from May-July touring, and making several stops to play at LGBT pride festivals.

In this interview for GLAAD's video series, GLAAD: All Access, host Claire Pires talks with Betty about why she's an ally to the LGBT community. She opens up about two personal interactions she had with LGBT fans, and she talks candidly about why she feels it's important to accept the LGBT community.
