All Access: First trans teen on Homecoming Court in Georgia

GLAAD's new online video series, "GLAAD: All Access," features interviews with newsmakers, hit-makers, and people making a difference. This week, host Claire Pires sat down with Sage Lovell, who is known to be the first transgender teen in Georgia's history to be elected to a high school homecoming court. Sage, her parents, and her sister told GLAAD about this experience in Atlanta, Georgia during the launch of GLAAD Southern Stories, which aims to tell the stories of LGBT people and their allies in the American South.

UPDATE: In February 2015, Sage changed her name to Eris. All posts after that date will refer to her as Eris.
