NBC starts the morning right, goes purple for #spiritday
NBC News programs and morning shows kicked the morning of Spirit Day off right, showing people across the country their support for LGBT youth in a stand against bullying.

Why is WNBC Supporting Discrimination?
This Saturday will mark the 251st annual New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and once again, LGBT groups will be shut out. And once again this year, New York’s NBC Affiliate is airing - and thereby undoubtedly financially supporting - this discriminatory event.
