Eve Moreno won the NAHJ/GLAAD Multimedia Digital Essay Contest by responding to the question “What do you want to see in terms of inclusion on Spanish-language television?" They were able to attend the GLAAD Media Awards in New York City on May 5th with their mother and continue to be an ambassador for the bilingual campaign Inclusive Screens, Pantalla Inclusiva that calls for more inclusion on Spanish and English language media with characters that are; LGBTQ, Afro-Latinx, indigenous, Asian Latinx, from Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico, South America, people with disabilities and a combination of these identities.
