This year for Spirit Day, people and organizations all around the world have gone purple to stand with LGBTQ youth against bullying. Here are several social media posts supporting Spirit Day from global organizations.
The Hetrick-Martin Institute is a nonprofit organization that serves the needs of LGBT youth. GLAAD visited its location in downtown New York City and interviewed LGBT young people about being bullied. They shared their experiences with bullying and how bullying has affected their lives.
