President Barack Obama wrote a passionate commentary expressing his full support of The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) and the need for congress to pass the bill. The op-ed by President Obama was published in The Huffington Post.

A twenty year old Kansas man who is a server at Carrabba's Italian Grill was denied a tip by a couple he provided service to. The couple acknowledged the "excellent" job he did, but instead of acknowledging his excellent service by tipping him, the couple wrote him a message on the back of the check about their objection to his sexual orientation and used their understanding of God to support their decision not to tip.

The Washington Blade reports, Ted Olson, who argued against California’s Proposition 8 before the U.S. Supreme Court and just this week joined another lawsuit seeking marriage equality in Virginia, announced he backs ENDA.
