Scalia Prompts Examination of Not-Quite "Ex-Gay" Group "Courage"

Last week, the Los Angeles Times ran an op-ed on Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s comments about LGBT people. Scalia’s son, Paul, is a Roman Catholic priest and has served as a chaplain to a Catholic organization known as “Courage”, a Roman Catholic LGBT celibacy group.

Catholic Teen Denied Confirmation for Supporting Marriage Equality

Seventeen-year old Lennon Cihak was denied confirmation after he posted a picture of himself on Facebook holding a sign he altered in support of the vote for marriage equality on Minnesota’s November 6th ballot.

Ousted Gay Catholic Graduation Speaker Organizes "Live Through Love" Concert

Dominic Sheahan-Stahl has organized a cadre of fellow singers and actors to perform for the “Live Through Love” concert. Proceeds from the event will go toward the Live Through Love Foundation’s Scholarship Fund, set up by Dominic himself in response to discrimination he faced from Scared Heart Academy and the Catholic Diocese of Saginaw.

Stand Up for Gay Iowa Student Barred from $40,000 Scholarship Presentation

Take action to support Keaton Fuller, an openly gay senior at Prince of Peace Catholic School in Clinton, Iowa, who was denied the opportunity to receive the Matthew Shepard Scholarship from the Eychaner Foundation at his school awards ceremony.
