    Take a stand against bullying. Use GLAAD's Spirit Day tools to turn your Facebook and Twitter profile photos purple to show your support for LGBT youth.

  3. Tweet to your school about #spiritday

    Tell your school or alma mater to support Spirit Day

  4. Join #spiritday on Facebook

    Join the official #SpiritDay event on Facebook and invite your friends.

  5. Check out the Spirit Day Resource Kit

    The Spirit Day Resource Kit will help you engage the participation of your friends, colleagues, local media and public officials.

  6. Download the #SpiritDay App

    GLAAD is happy to announce that you can take part in Spirit Day right from your phone! 

    GLAAD and Toyota Financial Services have launched the "Go Purple for #SpiritDay powered by Toyota Financial Services" app for iPhone and Android. The app provides users with anti-bullying resources, calls to action, and a tool that can turn photos purple and share to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The free app is now available in the Apple App Store and on Google Play.

  7. Consider donating to the Spirit Day Fund

    The Spirit Day Fund was established to support GLAAD's year-round efforts to combat bullying, support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth and garner support for and participation in the annual Spirit Day in October. Help GLAAD keep the Spirit alive by donating to the Spirit Day Fund today!
