GLAAD launches content series amp to amplify LGBTQ youth voices

New York, NY – GLAAD, the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization, today announced the release of the amp, an online series featuring content and stories created by and for young changemakers to share experiences and amplify LGBTQ voices.

The digital series will include op-eds, creative writing, photography, art, videos, and other original content from a bevy of young creators including GLAAD Campus Ambassadors, staff, and interns, as well as advocates, activists, artists.

GLAAD-funded TransMilitary Documentary Set to Premiere at SXSW Film Festival

New York – Today, it was announced that the groundbreaking documentary feature, TransMilitary, will premiere at the 2018 South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Festival in Austin, TX, this March. TransMilitary is the first feature length film project to receive funding from the GLAAD Media Institute, announced in late 2017.

Davos, Switzerland – GLAAD, the world’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, today announced the findings of its fourth annual Accelerating Acceptance report, a national survey among more than 2,100 U.S. adults conducted on GLAAD’s behalf by The Harris Poll. The results were announced during a panel discussion hosted by GLAAD and The Ariadne Getty Foundation at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
