Kayla Gore, a Black Trans Woman on the Lead to End Homelessness and HIV Prevalence for Black Trans Women

Kayla Gore is the Founder of My Sistah’s House and the Tiny House Project MSH. My Sistah’s House is a TGNC-led organization that provides emergency housing, advocacy, and resource assistance to TLGBQ communities in Memphis, TN. Through their Tiny House Project, My Sistah’s House has built houses to provide a safe place for Black Trans women in the Memphis area to call home. Kayla and My Sistah’s House are part of the National Geographic short-form documentary series, IMPACT with Gal Gadot. The episode premiered on May 17th and coincided with International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia.
