—Without evidence, claimed that the suspected shooter in the Uuvalde, TX, school shooting, in which 19 students and 2 adults were killed inside Robb Elementary School, is transgender. In a since-deleted incendiary and transphobic tweet, Gosar wrote of the suspected shooter, “It’s a transsexual leftist illegal alien…" The tweet quote added, "It's apparently your kind of transh" in response to an account with the name "AZ Biden Republican." There is no evidence the shooter, now dead, was transgender, but subsequent to the Gosar's tweet amplfying falsehoods, two transgende womena have said they received threats and harrassment

Accused of inciting the deadly January 6 siege at the U.S. Capitol, with hundreds of social media posts promoting the pro-Trump rally. Spoke at an event sponsored by white supremacist and anti-Semite Nick Fuentes.

Filed a court brief in support of Masterpiece Cakeshop owner Jack Phillips, who sought to deny making a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.

—Offered an amendment to a spending bill that bars transgender people from using public restrooms that aligns with their gender identity in the U.S. Capitol, the Library of Congress, or the House or Senate office buildings.

Supported an amendment to prevent same-sex marriage.

Voted against the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which extended protections to lesbians, gays, immigrants and Native Americans.
