—Published a deeply flawed study that attempted to demonstrate that children of same-sex parents fared worse in comparison to children raised by straight couples—without actually studying the children of same-sex parents. —Was rejected as an expert witness in a Michigan marriage equality ruling. Judge Bernard A. Friedman wrote: “The Court finds Regnerus’s testimony entirely unbelievable and not worthy of serious consideration,” and that his conservative research was “hastily concocted at the behest of a third-party funder.”
