YouTuber Raymond Braun shares reflection on #SouthernStories Summer Tour

YouTube star Raymond Braun joined GLAAD for the inaugural Southern Stories Summer Tour. During the tour, Braun particiapted in all the events, from helping to serve food to participants of the Birmingham AIDS Outreach Poker Run on Smith Lake, Alabama, to inviting his aunt to attend a screening of "State of Change - South Carolina" in Columbia, South Carolina, to bouncing in an inflatable castle at Lost-n-Found Youth in Atlanta, Georgia. Raymond spent his time talking to people on camera, learning about their experiences of being LGBT in the South, as well as participating in all GLAAD's activities along the way.

Now Raymond has come out with a video of his experience as a part of the tour.

"Traveling through the Deep South with GLAAD was one of the best weeks of my life. It's an honor to share so many compelling, moving LGBTQ stories from America's 'Bible Belt', Raymond said. "I was inspired by the strength, courage, and openness of the LGBTQ community everywhere from Smith Lake, Alabama to Jackson, Mississippi."
