The GLAAD Media Awards will take place at the Mariott Marquis in New York City, and be hosted by Good Morning America's Sam Champion, John Elliott and Lara Spencer. Madonna will present Anderson Cooper with the Vito Russo Award, and Scissor Sister Jake Shears will perform.

Debra Messing, Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens, Ellen Barkin, John Leguizamo, Brendon Ayanbadejo and more will be there celebrating a great year of LGBT accomplishments. Also at the ceremony will be LGBT people and families who helped lead the conversation toward equality this year, including Jennifer Tyrrell, Coy Mathis and Jazz.
The evening includes a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, a dinner, and finally the awards show benefiting GLAAD’s culture-changing work.
