Transgender Awareness Week 2013 starts today, and people all over America are organizing events to educate the general public and raise visibility around issues facing transgender people.
November 11 – 17 marks this year's Transgender Awareness Week, also known as #TransWk, which is a time when transgender people, gender non-conforming people, and their allies take action, educate others, and bring attention to important issues.
