What an amazing few days it’s been at GLAAD, starting yesterday with our interview on the Jenni Rivera radio show. We also saw today that all of the hosts on Telemundo’s morning show Levántate and on Al Rojo Vivo wore purple and talked about Spirit Day (and by a Telemundo official’s estimates, 70% of all Telemundo employees went purple today).
Last night at the Billboard Awards for Mexican music, Jenni Rivera performed dressed in purple and Kate del Castillo showed her support from the red carpet.

It inspires us at GLAAD to keep working for a world that accepts young people regardess of their orientation or skin color or appearance. So that they can feel empowered to keep building their lives, without fear and instead with pride, and to help make the world a better place for future generations.
