OWN joined GLAAD in this year's Spirit Day to support LGBT youth and take a stand against bullying. The network turned their on-air logo purple as well as going purple on social media and posting a purple staff picture. Oprah herself went purple on Twitter and posted a video from Bitney Crone about why Spirit Day matters.
