PHOTOS: Join GLAAD for the Global Speak Out for Russia around the world

People around the world are gathering together to speak out for love and hope for LGBT people in Russia, and push our world leaders to call on President Putin to repeal the anti-gay law. GLAAD is proud to partner with All Out to sponsor the Global Speak Out for Russia, which is underway across the globe.

Amidst Putin’s anti-gay crackdown, St Petersburg is hosting the G20 summit on Sept 5 and 6 - a meeting of some of the world’s most powerful leaders. President Obama has stated that he plans to meet with Russian LGBT organizations while he is in St. Petersburg at the G20 Summit.

People are gathering at Russian embassies and town centers in solidarity with all Russians, gay and straight, affected by these ‘propaganda’ laws while celebrating love, equality, and freedom of speech for all people.
