Outfest Fusion 2015 announces lineup and honorees, tickets available now

Outfest Fusion, an LGBT people of color Film Festival, celebrates its 12th year of sharing and showcasing LGBT-inclusive stories this month. Outfest Fusion runs March 13 and 14 at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. The program will conclude on Saturday, March 14, with the Fusion Gala & Achievement Award Presentation, where writer-director-producer Rose Troche will be honored as this year's Achievement Award recipient.

Troche first garnered attention with her debut (and GLAAD Media Award-winning) feature Go Fish, which tells the opposites-attract story of two women and their unlikely relationship. Troche is also known for her work as a writer, director, and producer on Showtime's The L Word and for her work on ABC's Ugly Betty.

The two-day event will screen both feature and non-fiction films, including a digitally restored version of documentary Paris Is Burning. The program opens with a screening of an upcoming episode of FOX's Empire followed by a panel with its producers. A screening of Justin Simien's Dear White People and a Q&A afterwards is also scheduled. For a full list of programs and panels, head to Outfest Fusion's website for more detailed information.

Tickets for the Gala and festival screenings are now available to purchase, with discount prices for Outfest members. For those age 21 and under, Outfest Fusion is also offering a Free Youth Membership and free tickets. To learn more and buy your tickets, visit the "Tickets" section of their website.
