OMG from Yahoo! Launches "Out and Proud in Hollywood" Tab in Conjunction with the #glaadawards

OMG! from Yahoo! has come out of the closet to celebrate the GLAAD Media awards. The site that gives the latest dose of celebrity goodness has created a new "Out and Proud in Hollywood" tab. Visitors to the site can view the Out and Proud photo gallery, receive up to date news stories, see red carpet photos, celeb interviews, and so much more!

Yahoo! has been a strong supporter of the LGBT community.  The company received a score of 100 on the HRC Corporate Equality Index and this past October took a stand against bullying during Spirit Day by spreading the word about the event and asking employees to wear purple.  Check out their staff photo below.

Make sure to tune in to OMG! from Yahoo! on June 3 as Glee’s Dianna Agron will voice her support for equality by hosting the GLAAD Media Awards in San Francisco.  Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere will offer a special performance at the event, where Shonda Rhimes (Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal) will receive the Golden Gate Award, and Facebook will also be honored.  For ticket information, click here.

The 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards were presented nationally by Ketel One and Wells Fargo, and presented locally in Los Angeles by Delta Air Lines. Southwest Airlines is the local presenting partner of San Francisco.
