NYC: Attend a Salon in honor of trans author Janet Mock at Barnard College tonight

Tonight, trans author and activist Janet Mock will speak at a salon focusing on her new memoir, Redefining Realness: My Path to Womanhood, Identity, Love & So Much More, at Barnard College in New York. The salon will begin with a reading from Redefining Realness, and then open up to a discussion with scholars, activists, and writers, including Brittney Cooper, Che Gossett, Reina Gossett, CeCe McDonald, and Mey Valdavia Rude.

The event will be held at Barnard College's Manhattan campus in the Held Auditorium, 304 Barnard Hall, at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and seating is limited.
