Tonight, NBCUniversal released a PSA featuring Caitlyn Jenner and Chandi Moore in recognition of the Transgender Day of Remembrance.
GLAAD partnered with OUT@NBCUniversal, the employee resource group for LGBT & straight ally employees at NBCU, to create the video which sends a message of acceptance and love to combat the hate, violence, and discrimination that transgender people face. Chandi Moore appears on I Am Cait, and is a trans advocate and health educator in Los Angeles.
Chandi says, "Today, take a moment to learn about the women who've lost their lives to hate. Tomorrow, please commit to making the world a safer place for all trans people."
Caitlyn closes the PSA with a call to action; "Listen to trans people's stories, hire a trans person in your company, support a trans student at your school, love your trans child. Let's all take action to put an end to hate and violence."

This Friday, November 20th, is the Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), an annual observance that honors the memory of those whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. As the PSA explains, at least 21 transgender people have been murdered in the U.S. in 2015. (To see the most recent victims, read these Advocate articles about Kiesha Jenkins and Zella Ziona.)
People are encouraged to participate in the Transgender Day of Remembrance by attending or organizing a vigil on November 20 to honor all those whose lives were lost to anti-transgender violence this year. A list of vigils by location may be found here.
