This Thursday is the midseason return of GLAAD Media Award nominated-comedy Superstore. Included in the ensemble is gay character Mateo, played by out actor Nico Santos. In the upcoming episode, Amy and Cheyenne attend Cloud 9 Academy to advance their careers. Dina and Garrett get roped into babysitting Glenn's daughter while he childproofs his office, and Jonah and Mateo become political activists. Superstore: Thursday, 8pm on NBC.
The second season of ABC’s For the People premieres on Thursday as well. Bisexual lawyer Kate Littlejohn is one of the main characters in this legal drama. In the Season 2 premiere, Sandra, with the help of new investigator Ted, defends a teenage gamer whose online argument leads to a police raid that ends with the death of a U.S. senator. A personal connection to the "swatting" case makes Roger determined For The people: Thursday, 10pm on ABC.
