Must-See LGBTQ TV: 'Steven Universe: The Movie' and new season of 'Elite"

Steven Universe: The Movie will air on Cartoon Network this Tuesday. Created by out writer and artist Rebecca Sugar, the show received a GLAAD Media Award for breaking barriers when it comes to LGBTQ-inclusion in kids and family programming. The Movie will take two years after the season five finale of Steven Universe and follows the Crystal Gems as they attempt to save all organic life on earth. The second season of Netflix’s Elite will be released in full on the streaming website this Friday. The show, a GLAAD Media Award-winning Spanish-language teen drama, follows the students of a prestigious boarding school in Spain. This includes several queer characters including fan-favoirte couple Omar and Ander. Elite: Friday, on Netflix.
