Must-See LGBTQ TV: 'Instinct' season finale and a new episode of 'Pose'

This Sunday, don’t miss the season one finale of CBS’s Instinct. The procedural police drama made headlines as the first network drama series to have an out gay character in the lead. Bisexual actor Alan Cumming plays said character, Dr, Dylan Reinhart, and will continue to do so as the show has been renewed for season two. In the finale, Dylan and Lizzie investigate the murder of Joan's protégé, Kristy, uncovering long-buried secrets worth killing over. Also, Dylan and Andy apply to adopt a child. Also on Sunday, a new episode of FX’s Pose hits the airwaves. Already groundbreaking for its inclusion of multiple trans women and gay men of color Pose continues to tell emotional stories, and represent an often underserved second of the community. Directed by transgender filmmaker Silas Howard, during this week’s episode “Mother’s Day,” Blanca is forced to reconnect with her estranged siblings after the death of her mother. Pose: Sunday, 9pm of FX.
