Must-See LGBTQ TV: Don't miss the 'Shadowhunters' midseason finale, and season two of '13 Reasons Why'

On Tuesday, back-to-back episodes of Shadowhunters air on Freeform as the midseason finale. In the episodes, Clary faces down an old foe in an attempt to find answers about Lilith's plan. Alec and Magnus turn to Lorenzo Rey for help, while Lilith finds a new ally. The team scrambles to find a way to put a stop to Lilith's plan coming to fruition. Meanwhile, Simon makes a heartbreaking choice with Isabelle's help and Magnus reconnects with a powerful person from his past. Shadowhunters is notable for fan-favorite couple Alec and Magnus as well as one of the first inclusions of an asexual character, Raphael, as series regular. Shadowhunters: Tuesday, 8pm on Freeform.

Season two of Netflix’s popular 13 Reasons Why comes onto the streaming service on Friday. The second season will increase the drama and mystery from season one, as new polaroids lead to reveal horrible goings on in their high school. This season will see the return of queer characters Tony, Courtney and Ryan, the latter played by out actor Tommy Dorfman. Out gay actor Wilson Cruz will also return for the second season.
