Must-See LGBTQ TV: Don't miss the broadcast of the #GLAADAwards, 'Black Lightning' season finale

The first season of The CW’s Black Lightning comes to an end on Tuesday. The superhero show revolves around the Pierce family, which includes Jefferson, titular Black Lightning, and his daughter Anissa (aka Thunder). In addition to fighting crime, the show focus on interpersonal relationships including Anissa’s romances with other women. In great news, Black Lightning was recently renewed for a second season by The CW.  In this week’s finale, the aftermath of the showdown with Black Lightning leaves everyone reeling. Meanwhile, Tobias gathers his forces. Black Lightning: Tuesday, 9pm on The CW.

On Wednesday, Logo will air the 29th Annual GLAAD Media Awards! The awards honor the best in LGBTQ media, and celebrate those who are changing the culture and accelerating acceptance. Make sure to tune in to see highlights on the stage including Lena Waithe’s empowering speech, Ricky Martin presenting to Britney Spears, and a moment between Adam Rippon and Gus Kenworthy.
