Must-See LGBT TV 8/30-9/5: 'Faking It,' 'Awkward.' return, new series 'Todrick' premieres and more!

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, hosted by Miley Cyrus, are this Sunday night! Sia is nominated in Best Female Video, while Hozier's LGBT-inclusive "Take Me To Church" picked up a nod in Best Rock Video. Jennifer Hudson's "I Still Love You" is nominated in Best Video with a Social Message, the video takes place at a wedding as a father comes to accept his son and celebrate his nuptials. The video was part of Logo's #All50 marriage equality campaign showcasing the widespread support for marriage equality in the U.S. 2015 MTV Video Music Awards: Sunday, 9pm on MTV.

MTV launches their new Monday night lineup this week with the return of the comedies Faking It and Awkward. and premiere of the new series Todrick. Faking It's return has Karma and Amy trying to rebuild their friendship, while Shane is fighting against the rules imposed by Hester High's new principal. On Awkward. Jenna's resolve to get over Matty is tested when she overhears a secret and senior pranks cause chaos at Palos Hills. The docu-series Todrick follows out YouTube star Todrick Hall and his crew as they create weekly productions and try to make it in Hollywood their own way. Scream's first season wraps on Tuesday. Clues keep mounting as Emma and friends get closer to finding out The Killer's identity, but will all be revealed in time as Audrey comes face-to-face with The Killer? Scream: Tuesday, 10pm on MTV.
