The 2015 Teen Choice Awards air on Sunday night. Several LGBT celebs and digital personalities picked up nominations including Caitlyn Jenner, Chris Colfer, Ellen DeGeneres, Jim Parsons, Sam Smith, Tyler Oakley, Joey Graceffa, Ingrid Nilsen, Cara Delevingne, Michelle Rodriguez, Lady Gaga and more. Inclusive films and series including Pitch Perfect 2, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Empire, Grey's Anatomy, The 100, Faking It, Becoming Us, Jane the Virgin, Chasing Life, The Fosters, Nashville and Younger among others palso picked up nods. Nominee and out actor, musician Jussie Smollett will also perform alongside his Empire co-star. 2015 Teen Choice Awards: Sunday, 8pm on FOX.
The documentary Out and Around premieres on Logo Monday. The film follows couple Jennifer Chang & Lisa Dazols’ 342-day trip through fifteen countries across the globe, during which they were able to interview LGBT leaders in more than a dozen countries to get a sense of what the community is like in those parts of the world. The hit comedy Survivor's Remorse returns for a second season this week. In the premiere, M-Chuck and the rest of Cam's family all move in to a brand new mansion as Cam is stuck spending time with the team owner, Jimmy, who he is closely tied to in his new contract. Survivor's Remorse: Saturday, 9:30pm on Starz.
Stand up special Tig Notaro: Boyish Girl Interrupted bows on HBO on Saturday night. The out Grammy-nominated comedian rose to national prominence after a 2012 stand-up performance at Largo, recorded and distributed by fellow comedian Louis C.K. At this show Notaro revealed that she had recently been diagnosed with cancer and suffered several other difficulties in her personal life. Tig Notaro: Boyish Girl Interrupted: Saturday, 10pm on HBO.
