Today, August 28, three Latino and LGBT groups--CASA de Maryland, the Latino LGBT History Project, and Equality Maryland--announced the Familia es Familia Maryland campaign, which aims to educate the state's Latino and LGBT communities around two important issues in the upcoming election: marriage equality (Question 6) and the Maryland DREAM Act (Question 4).
In mid-August, GLAAD travelled to Washington, DC to train over 50 community members on best-practices for speaking through media about two important issues in Maryland’s upcoming election:
