
Recognizing that black LGBT Christians often face discrimination in their communites and churches, Many Voices attempts to change the culture of the church by making it a place where all are welcome. In Many Voices describe themselves
As a Black church movement for gay and transgender justice, we envision a community that embraces the diversity of the human family and ensures that all are treated with love, compassion, and justice.
In order to perpetuate this message, Many Voices began a video campaign highlighting the personal faith stories of LGBT people of color. The campaign will highlight one video per week between National Coming Out Day and Transgender Day of Rememberance.
The web campaign features lay people as well as high-profile clergy like out, lesbian Bishop Tonyia Rawls...
