'Jersey Shore's' Vinny, Shaquille O'Neal, Amy Poehler and Chaz Bono among the celebrities 'Amplifying their Voice' in new GLAAD PSA series

Last night, E! Online debuted GLAAD's new PSA series -- Amplify Your Voice! -- featuring celebrities speaking out against anti-LGBT bullying. "No matter who you are, you have the power to make a difference," viewers are reminded.

GLAAD partnered with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) to produce the series, as well as anti-bullying resource kits that will be distributed to schools across the nation. In addition to celebrity talent including Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones, Naya Rivera, Russell Simmons, Rev. Al Sharpton, Chaz Bono and many more, the PSAs also feature youth from the New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center's Youth Enrichment Services (YES) Program.

The launch of GLAAD's new PSAs comes just days before Spirit Day 2011 -- held annually on October 20th, millions of Americans join together on Spirit Day to wear purple in support of LGBT youth.
