There are many reasons to celebrate in June, such as the start of summer vacation, Father’s Day, and Donut Day, to name a few. But for the LGBTQ community, GLAAD, and those supporting “Pride x GLAAD,” June is particularly special because it is Pride month, a full 30 days dedicated to the LGBTQ community and celebrating our truest selves. GLAAD is proud to partner with Google, Magnum, Harry’s, and ASOS to make your June even more Pride-tastic.

Here’s what GLAAD’s Pride partners are doing this month and how you can get in on the fun:

Google launched its #ThisIsFamily campaign on June 8th with an event in Venice Beach. To celebrate Pride month, Google produced a video showing interracial families and families with same-sex couples, among other diverse portrayals of families who don’t often see themselves represented in the media. You can tell GLAAD what family means to you by including “pride.google” and using the hashtag #ThisIsFamily. Visit pride.google  to watch the video and donate to GLAAD. Each dollar donated will be matched by Google throughout the month of June.

Harry’s created a limited edition “Shave With Pride” set, which includes everything you need for a close and comfortable shave, packaged in a bright and cheerful box designed by artists Craig & Karl. All of the profits from its sale will go to organizations that support the LGBTQ+ community, including GLAAD.

ASOS designed a line called “ASOS x GLAAD&.” It includes fashionable shirts, hoodies, and accessories that benefit GLAAD. ASOS also outfit the 200 people who joined GLAAD’s “Amp Your Voice Pride" float for the NYC Pride March on June 24th. 

Magnum created a colorfully decadent Pride ice cream bar, the proceeds of which will go to GLAAD during the month of June. Throughout the week of June 18th, you could catch “The History of GLAAD” video playing in Magnum’s pop-up store in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood and, on June 20th, they offered a Pride bar for free!
