The GLAAD Wrap: Tig Notaro's new pilot and Sam Smith's new Bond song

Every week, The GLAAD Wrap brings you LGBT-related entertainment news highlights, fresh stuff to watch out for, and fun diversions to help you kick off the weekend.

1) Nancy Meyers' The Intern opens in theaters today. It stars Anne Hathaway as Jules, a CEO of a fashion company, and Robert De Niro as Ben, her new intern. Cameron, the COO that establishes an internship program for retirees, is played by Andrew Rannells. Check out a clip of the CEO/COO duo below.

2) Also opening in theaters today is Stonewall, directed by Roland Emmerich. The film follows Danny Winters (Jeremy Irvine) as he gets caught up in the 1969 Stonewall Riots. Also starring is Jonny Beauchamp as Ray/Ramona and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Trevor.

3) Sonia Sebastián, the director of the Spanish web series Girl Seeks Girl, returns with the movie Girl Gets Girl. The film follows Inés (Celia Freijeiro) as she gets tangled up in the lives of Verónica (Cristina Pons), the pregnant ex-fiancée she stood up ten years ago, and Verónica's housemate Lola (Sandra Collantes), who Inés kissed on her wedding day. Girl Gets Girl is released in Spanish theaters today. The movie can also be streamed online through their Indiegogo campaign. See the trailer below.

4) Amazon Studios, coming off of multiple Emmy wins for Transparent, has announced their fall 2015 pilot lineup. Included is One Mississippi, loosely inspired by Tig Notaro's Boyish Girl Interrupted stand-up special. The dark comedy follows Tig as she returns to her hometown after the unexpected death of her mother. Also featured is Noah Harpster as Tig's brother Remy and Casey Wilson as Tig's girlfriend.

5) Out producer Nisha Ganatra's comedy has been sold to NBC by Amy Poehler's Paper Kite Productions. Pre-Madonna, inspired by Ganatra's adolescence, is about Sarita Gupta starting high school in 1983 and discovering herself. It is executive produced by Ganatra and Tami Sagher and has a put pilot commitment.

6) In advance of the the new James Bond movie, Spectre, out British singer Sam Smith has released the film's official themesong entitled "Writing's on the Wall."  You can listen to the new song below, via Spotify.

7) Sia has released a new song "Alive." Originally written for Adele, Sia sings it from Adele's perspective. This is the first single from her upcoming album, This Is Acting. The album is comprised of songs Sia initially wrote for other artists. Listen to "Alive" below.

8) New web series She's in London revolves around a group of queer women as they try to save She Bar, their local LBT bar. She's in London premieres September 27th on Tello. Check out the trailer below.

9) The web series Elevator Stories has launched a Kickstarter campaign to cover production and post-production costs. The series, based in a NYC apartment building elevator, is the comedic love story of serial dater Ezabel (Nicole Pacent, Aster from Anyone But Me) and struggling comic book artist Samantha (Jillian Rose Reed, Tamara from Awkward).
