GLAAD releases background information on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' record of anti-LGBTQ activism

NEW YORK – GLAAD, the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization, today released research on Alex Jones, the founder of the debunked InfoWars website, who will appear on the next episode of NBC’s “Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly.”

Jones is known for falsely calling the Sandy Hook massacre a “giant hoax” and claiming the Aurora mass shooting was a “false flag,” but his dangerous and damaging rhetoric does not stop there. Jones has used his website and platform to push countless anti-LGBTQ statements. These claims include saying the Pulse Nightclub massacre was the LGBTQ community’s fault and promoting defamatory myths about the transgender people. Take a look below to see a full history of Alex Jones’ anti-LGBTQ record.

GLAAD urges media reporting on his interview with Megyn Kelly to provide a full look at his rhetoric.
