'Forbidden Love: The Unashamed Stories of Lesbian Lives' re-released on WolfeOnDemand for 20th anniversary!

The 1992 documentary Forbidden Love: The Unashamed Stories of Lesbian Lives has been re-released on WolfeOnDemand for its 20th anniversary to celebrate its place as an integral part of LGBT film history. The documentary is a Canadian film written and directed by Lynne Fernie and Aerlyn Weissman that documented the lives of lesbian women and their experiences of lesbian pulp fiction. It incorporates interviews, archival footage and dramatizations to illustrate lesbian life in the 1940s, 50s and 60s. Check out the trailer below!

Forbidden Love premiered at Toronto Film Festival in 1992 and went on to receive the GLAAD Media Award for Best Documentary, as well as the Genie Award for best documentary. After being unavailable for many years, it is now is available to watch and download in a re-mastered, HD version on WolfeOnDemand.com for audiences worldwide.
