Congratulations! Tiq Milan selected for Ace Hotel's Beyond Measure

Congratulations to Tiq Milan for being selected for Ace Hotel's Beyond Measure contest. In addition to his work at GLAAD, Milan has contributed his work to many projects and publications, such as Trans Bodies, Trans Selves, and Live Out Loud's Homecoming Project. He works closely with news media outlets to assure accurate and fair reporting on transgender people, as well as speaks nationally to discuss the development of transgender rights. Milan has been featured in Rolling Stone, The New York Times, The Source, and other publications, focusing on LGBT issues. Milan also works with LGBT youth in New York, conducting workshops about intersectionality and sex positivity as a way of growing self-awareness. "Every day is another opportunity to change the world for the better, to shift the cultural paradigm to something that looks more inclusive, loving, and peaceful. We all have our parts to play and I'm humbled to be recognized for mine and I'm super excited to look good while doing it. Thank you so much Bindle & Keep and Ace Hotels," said Milan

Bindle & Keep founder Daniel Friedman said, "Carefully tailored to the contours of our bodies and personal aesthetics, custom suits, like our nominees, are one-of-a-kind. It's Bindle & Keep's core mission to ensure winners feel empowered as they continue their noble journeys empowering others."

Kelly Sawdon, Partner and Chief Brand Officer at Ace Hotel, said, "It's an honor to celebrate and award these individuals with a well-deserved token of their good work. The Beyond Measure winners embody a courage that fuels the fiercest fight — the one for the dignity and equality of the individual, and we're with them all the way."

Congratulations Tiq on inspiring others with your hard work and activism.
