Celebridades apoyan #SpiritDay para acabar con el acoso a jóvenes LGBTQ

Que alegría es ver que una vez más tantas celebridades demuestran su apoyo para #SpiritDay. Al agregarle a su foto de perfil un filtro morado, usar vestimenta morada y/o compartir un mensaje de apoyo en sus redes sociales, estas celebridades demuestran que están en contra del acoso escolar o bullying. Entre los famosos que se unieron se encuentran: Regina Baldon, Fernanda Castillo, Patricia Velasquez, Christian Chavez, Enrique Santos, Sandra Echeveria, Aislinn Derbez, Olga Tañon, Jaime Camil, Carmen Villalobos, Pablo Alboran, Reyna Franco, Ozomatli, Elizabeth Espinosa, y Mariana Torres entre otros. Es muy importante mostrarle apoyo a la juventud LGBTQ, haciéndoles saber que no están solos, especialmente por parte de las celebridades a quién ellos admiran. Jóvenes LGBTQ siguen siendo víctimas de acoso escolar. Desafortunadamente en muchas ocasiones, estos jóvenes, al reportar el acoso, no reciben el apoyo necesario por parte de las escuelas y en muchas ocasiones tampoco por parte de sus familias. Por esta razón GLAAD agradece a todos los que apoyaron #SpiritDay. We are so pleased to see that this year, once again, so many celebrities showed their support of #SpiritDay. Adding a purple filter to their profile picture, wearing purple clothing, and/or sharing a message of support on their social media, these celebrities show that they are against bullying. Among the famous people that joined #SpiritDay are: Regina Baldon, Fernanda Castillo, Patricia Velasquez, Chavez, Enrique Santos, Sandra Echeveria, Aislinn Derbez, Olga Tañon, Jaime Camil, Carmen Villalobos, Pablo Alboran, Reyna Franco, Ozomatli, Elizabeth Espinosa, and Mariana Torres among others. It’s very important to show support to LGBTQ youth, letting them know that they are not alone, especially support from the celebrities they admire. Young LGBTQ people continue to experience bullying at school. Unfortunatelly, many times, they don’t receive the support necesary from their schools and sometimes not even from their families. Therefore, GLAAD thanks all those celebrities who supported #SpiritDay.
