"Campeones de la Igualdad" shares stories of LGBT families with millions of univision.com visitors

Spanish-language Univision news recently published a special multi-media package, "Campeones de la Igualdad" on its site that profiles some of the couples who helped bring about the historic Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage.

Among the four couples profiled are several raising kids, including Paul Campion and Randy Johnson who worried what would happen to their kids, whom they had to adopt separately, should something happen to either of the men.

Univision.com enjoys upward of 14 million visitors to their site every month. Past Huella Digital special packages have garnered more than 3 million page views. The team that created the project said they wanted to give voice to those who know, first hand, "how devastating, dehumanizing and degrading" it is to be considered a second class citizen.
