Longtime ally Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto on NCIS) appeared on The Jeff Probst Show this past week with her fiancé and announced that they would not be getting married until Proposition 8 is repealed. Watch the clip below.
Perrette has been one of the most visible proponents of equality for the LGBT community to arise in recent years. Last year, she was a presenter at the 22nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York, and she is also active with the NOH8 Campaign, going so far as to wear a custom NOH8 gown when she appeared onstage at the 2011 People’s Choice Awards.
The actress will also soon appear in a new PSA series directed by Brett Ratner for GLAAD starring celebrities “coming out” for equality. Look for more details on the video series to come soon.
