The last time he was in Nashville, Tenn., Tracy Morgan delivered a violently homophobic rant during his comedy set at the Ryman Auditorium that soon made headlines across the country.  But for his return trip, Morgan will be bringing a very different message. In a show of support for the LGBT community, Morgan will appear at the Nashville Convention center tomorrow morning to apologize in person for the remarks he made on June 3, and to meet with a number of local advocates.  Among them will be Kevin Rogers, whose original Facebook post alerted the media to what had transpired, and Elke Kennedy, whose son was tragically murdered in an anti-gay attack.  Also present will be Tennessee Equality Project Vice President Wes Aull, Tennessee Transgender Political Coalition President Marisa Richmond, members of the Tennessee African American LGBT group Brothers United, and several other audience members from Morgan's show. This appearance follows a recent meeting between Morgan and LGBT youth from the Ali Forney Center in New York City, not to mention weeks of media attention around the issue.
