True Blood's Anna Paquin Comes Out as Bisexual

True Blood star Anna Paquin came out as bisexual in a recently released PSA for the non-profit campaign "Give a Damn," alongside other LGBT celebrities and allies such as GLAAD Media Award honoree Wanda Sykes, Elton John, Cyndi Lauper, and Clay Aiken. The "Give a Damn" PSA, a part of Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Fund, which works to spread awareness and equality for the LGBT community, was launched today, and is the first time Paquin has announced that she is bisexual. The actress won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 1993 film, The Piano, and has starred in the X-Men films, Almost Famous, and The 25th Hour. GLAAD applauds Paquin for increasing the visibility of the bisexual community and for involving herself in a campaign that works to change hearts and minds.
