It's the moment we've all been waiting for as American Idol reveals the winner of its eighth season. Here's hoping enough of you voted for Adam Lambert last night! The music continues later on as Grizzly Bear drop by The Late Show with David Letterman.

8:00 pm The New Adventures of Old Christine, CBS (30 min) SEASON FINALE Delayed from last week: Richard and New Christine’s wedding day arrives, which means Richard’s gay brother Joe should be in attendance, hopefully with a plus one on his arm!

8:00 pm American Idol, Fox (2 hrs) SEASON FINALE Last night they performed and you voted. Tonight we discover whether gay fave Adam Lambert or Kris Allen will walk away with the Idol crown in one of the closest contests in recent memory.
