In lieu of flowers or gifts to the family, Spencer's partner Dan Niesen would like any type of contribution to be made to GLAAD, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, where Spencer served on its National Board of Directors since 2006. A Memorial Fund has been set up in Spencer Yu's name where these contributions will be utilized for GLAAD's Entertainment Programmatic work. Contributions can be made online at:
You can mail your donation to GLAAD’s Los Angeles office. We will send notification (excluding the dollar amount of your gift) to the person or family member of your choosing and you’ll receive an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes.
