A 19-year-old was found stabbed to death in Chicago, blocks from the shooting of Paige Clay, a transgender woman of color.
Last week, transgender advocate Alexis Rivera passed away from complications related to HIV. Rivera was 34 years old and worked as Policy Advocate at the Transgender Law Center in San Francisco since 2007. GLAAD offers deepest condolences to her friends, family, and all who loved her.
