IKEA made headlines last month when they removed an article about a lesbian couple and their son from the Russian version of the company's internationally distributed magazine. Now, RUSA LGBT needs your help in sending the message that LGBT families do not deserve to be erased.
This week, spokespeople from RUSA LGBT, an organization of Russian and Russian-speaking LGBT people living in the United States, have earned several media hits and opportunities to tell their story and tell a US audience what they can do to help.

Next Tuesday, September 10, Logo TV will launch its live-streamed "Logo Town Hall" series with a round-table discussion on LGBT discrimination in Russia. The discussion is scheduled for 4pm EST, and will revolve around recent violence against the LGBT community in Russia, particularly the nation's passage of a law prohibiting "gay propaganda."
Masha Gessen, an openly lesbian Russian-American reporter, is taking a strong role on the international stage, discussing the anti-LGBT legislation and accompanying violence in Russia.
