Presbyterian church to vote on marriage equality in upcoming meeting

At the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA) meeting this June 14-21 in Detroit, commissioners will vote on a constitutional amendment that could allow for marriage equality within the denomination. In addition, the assembly will consider a resolution that would prevent Presbyterian ministers who officiate same-sex marriages from facing discipline.
